- Director of two undergraduate programs and a minor in writing with a total of over 200 students.
- Responsible for scheduling and staffing over 60 courses in an AY with over 30 faculty in all 3 programs.
- Chair of both department undergraduate curriculum committees focused on curriculum development, assessment, and promotion of the programs.
- Mentor of tenure faculty, non-tenured faculty, and graduate students who teach in the undergraduate programs through workshops and constant gatherings. I also mentor faculty and staff outside of the department and college.
- Collaborator with professionals in industry to procure jobs, internships, and networking opportunities for students in our undergraduate programs.
- Coordinator with other departments (AAHD) and the MSU Library who have faculty who teach in the XA program.
- Coordinator of the entire XA Capstone for over 160 students who write, reflect, and catalog their experiences in and out of the major. This requires the constant reading of documents submitted by XA students that then have to be awarded points on a case-by-case basis.
